ANALISIS USER INTERFACE PADA WEBSITE LAYANAN INFORMASI BERBASIS WEB UNIVERSITAS AL HIKMAH JEPARA

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong perguruan tinggi untuk memanfaatkan website sebagai media penyampaian informasi kepada mahasiswa maupun masyarakat umum. Website perguruan tinggi tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana publikasi informasi institusi, tetapi juga sebagai sistem layanan digital yang menyediakan berbagai informasi akademik dan layanan administrasi secara daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tampilan user interface pada website Universitas Al Hikmah Jepara guna mengetahui bagaimana struktur tampilan dan navigasi informasi yang disediakan kepada pengguna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan teknik observasi terhadap tampilan antarmuka website. Proses analisis dilakukan dengan mengamati elemen antarmuka seperti struktur menu, tata letak informasi, navigasi halaman, serta kemudahan akses layanan yang tersedia pada website. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa website Universitas Al Hikmah Jepara memiliki struktur antarmuka yang terdiri dari beberapa komponen utama yaitu halaman beranda, menu akademik, layanan mahasiswa, serta menu informasi institusi. Struktur antarmuka tersebut memberikan kemudahan bagi pengguna dalam menemukan informasi yang dibutuhkan melalui navigasi menu yang tersedia. Dengan demikian, penerapan desain user interface pada website Universitas Al Hikmah Jepara dapat mendukung penyampaian informasi akademik secara lebih efektif dan efisien.

ABSTRACT

The development of information technology encourages universities to utilize websites as a medium for delivering information to students and the public. A university website functions not only as a platform for institutional information but also as a digital service system that provides academic and administrative services online. This study aims to analyze the user interface of the Universitas Al Hikmah Jepara website to identify the structure of the interface and the navigation system used to present information to users.

This research used a descriptive approach with an observation method by examining the website interface directly. The analysis focused on several interface components such as menu structure, information layout, page navigation, and accessibility of available services. The results show that the website interface consists of several main components including the homepage, academic information menu, student service menu, and institutional information menu. In addition, the website provides several online services such as library services, alumni tracer study services, and student satisfaction surveys. These interface structures help users easily access information through a clear navigation system.
